About the Journal

Al-Zahrawi Journal of Medical Sciences (ZJMS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by Al-Zahrawi University, Karbala, Iraq. The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality Original Research Articles and Review Articles that contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge, clinical practice, and healthcare innovation at both local and international levels. The journal focuses on the following core disciplines:

• Clinical, Basic & Biomedical Sciences: Internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, anatomy, physiology, medical biochemistry, and molecular medicine.
• Diagnostic, Allied Health & Laboratory Medicine: Medical laboratory technologies, clinical pathology, diagnostic imaging, hematology, microbiology, and immunology.
• Public Health, Preventive Medicine & Epidemiology: Community medicine, epidemiology, health policy, occupational health, nutrition, and disease prevention.
